FICTION
As an editor, I cover Line Editing, which improves the writing, together with Substantive Editing, where I also note any issues with the story. My work helps the author produce a narrative that flows smoothly, with good sentence structure, pace and plot development. I ensure the story is clear for the reader, has continuity and believability, and is engaging.
NON-FICTION
For non-fiction works, it’s important to have well-written sentences, good structure and pace. I can help you trim excess words or suggest where more information may be needed to help you produce a compelling book.
I welcome the opportunity to help you advance your writing career, as together we polish your words for the world to enjoy. Please get in touch if you would like to submit up to 1000 words for an editing preview before committing to a full edit. I’m interested in all genres, except horror.
