The New Zealand Indie Publishing Directory provides a unique resource for New Zealand authors seeking to self-publish their books.

The directory features a range of New Zealand professionals who provide services to authors (both in New Zealand and overseas), such as editing and proofreading, illustrations and cover design, formatting and other technical assistance, and publicity and marketing.

Each service provider will note in their listing any genre specialties, so authors can search by these genre tags.

Please note that each publishing professional listed in this online directory has been checked by the directory organisers as being based in New Zealand and offering the stated services to self-published authors on a paid basis. We recommend you do your own research about any of these professionals that you consider working with to assess their suitability for your requirements.

The directory also offers an array of self-publishing advice and tips submitted by some of our service providers to further assist independent authors.

The New Zealand Indie Publishing Directory is created and run by Relish Books’ director Kate Gordon-Smith. Kate is indie published author of junior fiction, and the founder/owner of the Kiwi Kids’ Bookstore which showcases books by New Zealand authors for children and teens.
