Sue is a professional book editor with 30+ years’ experience in the UK and NZ publishing industries. She was a senior editor at Dorling Kindersley in London before moving to Aotearoa/New Zealand, where she freelances for a number of publishers, both local and international, as well as working directly with independently published authors.

Sue also writes children’s books, and adult fiction under her pen name Olivia Hayfield. She is traditionally published (by Penguin RH in the US, and Hachette UK/Australia/NZ) and has self-published under her own imprint.
