Are you releasing a new book in New Zealand? Do you need a hand to create media interest and submit the book to relevant reviewers? With 30+ years’ experience in media relations and marketing, plus ever-growing knowledge of the book sector, I can help.

I have a few options for indie published authors.

- The all-done-for-you publicity programme includes discussions with you, preparation of a media release and advance information sheet, development of a media plan, media pitches and review submissions, follow-up and liaison with you and media, and a post-launch media report.

- One or more publicity and marketing coaching and critique call/s for New Zealand authors who would like a professional’s assistance to learn and do most of the publicity tasks themselves.

- To undertake agreed publicity tasks on a contract basis.

Please note: I will ask to see the proposed cover and formatted interior file before agreeing to work with you on your book publicity, so that, 1) I can determine whether I’m 100% happy putting your book forward to media, in terms of the standard of writing, editing and design; and 2) as an indie published author and bookseller myself, to potentially offer some suggestions to you for improvements during the final proofing and tweaking stage before publication.

I have greater knowledge about books for younger readers, but am equally confident working on publicity projects for virtually any genre typically sold in New Zealand bookstores.
