Indie Books NZ showcases new books from New Zealand’s diverse and talented community of independent authors.
Indie Books NZ sends regular updates about these indie-published books to retailers, shops, libraries and secondary schools across the country. Authors opt in to feature their books – we offer a range of paid spaces on our website and newsletter.
The email newsletter goes out every two months highlighting the paid-to-feature books. Our website and social media posts also showcase paid-to-feature books.
Authors can also opt to create an author directory listing on the Indie Books NZ website. This listing highlights your place in the large, diverse and active NZ indie author community and provides a valuable backlink to your own website, benefiting your SEO (search engine optimisation), or can be utilised as your online presence if you don’t have an author website.
Since 2022, Indie Books has been co-ordinated by Lesley Webb, an Auckland freelance graphic designer, with support from Terri Gasparich. Lesley has a deep appreciation for the time, effort and investment authors make in producing high quality, marketable books, and has enjoyed developing Indie Books to reflect that quality to buyers.
