There is a LOT of information on the internet about self-publishing.

Here are some of the resources and people we trust when we’re looking for independent, sound advice.

Kindlepreneur

Kindlepreneur founder Dave Chesson has created a huge array of free resources and paid programmes for self-published authors, such as a free ISBN barcode creator for your back cover, a book formatting template if you like working in Word, and the extremely helpful Amazon analysis tool, Publisher Rocket, where you can research keywords, analyse competitor titles and much more. A highly recommended, one-time investment if you want to learn how to market your books on Amazon. They also created a book formatting app called Attitus which is, generally, very good (although the latest update is a little glitchy, hopefully fixed soon).

There’s a back catalogue of helpful articles about all kind of self-publishing topics – the ‘how to’s, marketing tips and so much more. Sign up for his newsletter to learn things you didn’t know you needed to know. They also summarise the best paid courses currently available to help you learn the self-publishing business.
