Red Pencil provides high-quality editing solutions for authors. This is achieved by building a relationship with you to understand your target audience.
I have been certified through Author Accelerator’s Book Coach Certification program. This involves me working with you on your book manuscript from the beginning of your writing process and can continue right through to the querying stage. In this role I will be your cheerleader and collaborator.
As a proofreader and editor I provide editing assistance by checking for issues with character development, plot holes and other errors that can detract from your story. I will also correct errors in spelling, grammar and punctuation, as well as improving the flow of the manuscript.

Hi, I’m Leanne, the founder of Red Pencil. I’ve always had a passion for writing and made my career around it! I offer proofreading, editing and book coaching. If you need your writing to be error free or your grammar and spelling checked, I’m here to help.
I work with businesses and authors around New Zealand and the world. I’m a wife and a mum of two adults, as well as a business owner and I’m based in Christchurch, New Zealand.
