MeBooks exists to connect New Zealand publishers and readers interested in eBooks.

We help New Zealand publishers and authors create and sell eBooks online, and provide an easy means for readers to purchase and download these titles from http://mebooks.co.nz.

We also do eBook conversions. We handle many digital input formats, including PDF, InDesign, and Word. If you have a digital format that you’d like to convert, contact us, and the chances are that we will be able to use it to produce eBooks for you.  Conversions costs vary, depending on the complexity of the book’s layout, number of illustrations and graphics, etc. Please request our ratecard.

The turn-around time is typically around two weeks. We supply back the ePUB file, and ask that you check this over to ensure that you are happy with the conversion. We’re happy to attend to any typos / errors that may have been introduced during the conversion process for up to twelve months after conversion.

The final ePUB file can then be uploaded and sold on meBooks and/or Amazon.

If you wish to sell your eBook via meBooks, our commission is 25% of the RRP. We will also sell your eBook on your behalf on Amazon and ask for 25% of the net royalties as our commission.
