Deb is the consummate professional, and I would urge anyone looking for a book designer or illustrator, or partner or mentor to navigate them through the publishing process to get in contact with her. I have now worked on eight books with Deb – a mixture of picture books and junior fiction novels, and of independently and third-party published titles – and the process has never been other than easy and seamless (and fun), and the outcome consistently fabulous. Her work is gorgeous and meticulous, yet varied and has always exceeded my expectations and brief. As a result, two of the projects we have worked on together have received national book awards, and two have required multiple reprints. Deb also knows the publication and printing process inside out, and is a clear communicator and consistently a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
