Deborah has illustrated over forty picture books, junior fiction and educational readers for publishing houses in New Zealand and Australia. In 2016 she wrote, illustrated and published her first picture book titled Hare, under the imprint PictureBook Publishing. Since then Deborah has published another six titles - her own stories and those of other authors. Deborah works with indie authors wanting to publish their own stories and offers guidance around the process of publishing children's books. She also provides illustrations for picture books and junior fiction. Book design is an important aspect of creating a book that sometimes get overlooked. Having worked in the publishing industry since 2003 Deborah has the advantage of being able to offer a complete service to producing quality books. Where needed professionals are hired for editing and proofreading.
